Online Therapy

Online therapy - otherwise known as virtual therapy and/or teletherapy - differs in only one way from traditional in-person therapy. That is, not being in the "literal" physical presence of one another in a designated brick-and-mortar setting. But is this even a downfall? Not really. In fact, there are multiple advantages to online therapy, touched on below.

Privacy

Online therapy eliminates the need to attend an in-person office or clinic. For some, this is an extra - highly effective - step to preserving privacy.

P.S.

If the safety of your privacy online is a concern you have when considering online therapy, you need not worry. The software used for sessions is PHIPA compliant.

Flexibility

Securing a suitable appointment time can be much more convenient when you have the option to attend the appointment from anywhere.

P.S.

While it can't be said for all practitioners, Rebecca has a significant amount of flexibility in her schedule by offering sessions online - including evenings.

Comfort

Participating in therapy remotely allows you the advantage of participating from the comfort of your own space.

P.S.

Rebecca can actually gain additional information about you by having the opportunity to see your space, that would otherwise go unknown if you were attending in-person.
